Whaley Bridge Community Bonfire and Fireworks will take place on the 4th of November 2023. Gates open at 5:30pm with the bonfire being lit at 6:30pm and the fireworks display starting at 7:30pm.

Shallcross Incline Greenway surfacing repairs
From Monday 3 July for up to two weeks
DCC are laying a new, hardwearing surface on the Shallcross Incline Greenway after it was damaged by heavy rainfall.
The repairs will provide a more durable surface with improved drainage to help walkers, cyclists, horse riders and mobility aid users enjoy the route in all weathers.

Consultation regarding the Whaley Bridge Neighbourhood Plan
