There will be a service of thanksgiving for her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The service will take place at the Canal Basin in Whaley Bridge at 2:00pm on Saturday the 17th of September.

The Town Council have opened a book of Condolence for her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The book will be available to be signed between 10:00am and 12:00pm from the 13th of September to the 20th of September.

On behalf of the residents of Whaley Bridge and Furness Vale the Town Council offer their deepest sympathies to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.

On behalf of the smaller authority, I confirm that the dates set for the period for the exercise of public rights are as follows:

and ending on Friday the 22nd July 2022
